We start with the very core of sound: what it actually is, how we perceive it, and how we can control it. From there, you’ll discover how oscillators shape tone, how filters carve out space, how envelopes add motion and groove, and how modulation brings sound to life. But I don’t just explain what these tools are, I demonstrate exactly how I use them to craft sounds that work in real tracks.
Then we go deeper. We explore every major synthesis method , subtractive, FM, additive, wavetable, sampling, granular, and physical modeling , not in isolation, but as part of a bigger creative process. You’ll learn how each method behaves, the types of textures it can generate, and most importantly, how to use them effectively when crafting your patches.
