We want you to be happy with everything you buy from Doctor Mix. This page explains our refund terms for each type of purchase. If something’s not right, get in touch — we’d always rather sort it out.

1. DIGITAL DOWNLOADS (SOUND PACKS, SAMPLE LIBRARIES, PRESETS)
30-day money-back guarantee.
If you purchase a digital product (sound pack, sample library, preset pack) and you’re not satisfied for any reason, you can request a full refund within 30 days of the purchase date.
How to request:

- Include your order number and the email address used at checkout
- Let us know you’d like a refund (you don’t need to explain why)
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.
After 30 days: Digital downloads are non-refundable.
Exceptions — we will always refund or replace if:
- The file is technically defective or corrupted and we can’t fix it
- The product is materially different from how it was described

2. ONLINE COURSES
30-day money-back guarantee.
If you purchase a course and you’re not satisfied for any reason, you can request a full refund within 30 days of the purchase date.

- Let us know you’d like a refund (you don’t need to explain why)

After 30 days: Courses are non-refundable.
3. MIXING & MASTERING SERVICES
Mixing and mastering is bespoke, hands-on work. Our refund terms reflect that.
Once work has commenced, services are non-refundable.
This is specialised, custom work created specifically for you. Each project involves significant time, expertise, and creative effort from our engineering team. Once we begin working on your tracks, we cannot offer a refund.
However:
- Revisions are included — the number of revision rounds is stated in your service package. We want to get it right.
- If you’re unhappy: Contact us before assuming a refund isn’t possible. We’ll always try to resolve it through revisions or alternative solutions.
- If we can’t deliver due to reasons within our control: you’ll receive a full refund for any work paid for but not yet completed.
- If we decline your order for any reason (see our Terms of Service): you’ll receive a full refund.
Before work commences: If you cancel your order before we have started work, you will receive a full refund.
How to request a service refund review:
Email [email protected] with your order number, a clear description of the issue, and any relevant files. We’ll respond within 2 business days.
4. DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS
If anything you receive is:
- Technically broken or corrupted
- Significantly different from the description
- Incomplete
Contact us immediately at [email protected]. We’ll either replace it, re-perform the service, or issue a full refund — depending on what makes most sense.
5. HOW REFUNDS ARE PROCESSED
All refunds are issued to your original payment method via Paddle, our payment processor. Processing times:
- Credit/debit cards: 5–10 business days
- PayPal / other methods: per provider terms
You’ll receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated.
6. YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS
Nothing in this policy removes or limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. For independent advice, visit citizensadvice.org.uk.
