Mix & Mastering

Here is where you specify how many tracks there are in your mixing session. Count the number of audio files in your session and select the appropriate size of Mixing & Mastering package. For example, if you have 22 audio files then select the 24 track Mix & Mastering package. If you have 35 files select the 48 track Mix & Mastering package.

The Session Video Option means we will film your real mixing session in one continuous, unedited live take inside the Doctor Mix studio.

Once your multitrack is prepared and the session is set up, we press record and capture the entire process — from the first balance decisions through to the delivery of the first finished mix.

You will see exactly how and why every move is made, including EQ, compression, effects, automation and creative refinements. Nothing is staged or scripted — this is the authentic professional workflow used for every client project.

When you select the “Tape Option,” we'll use real tape on selected parts of the arrangement where we think it’s most appropriate or on the entire mix altogether, in line with the style of your music. This imparts a silky quality to the top end of your mix while infusing a tasteful touch of 'old-school' warmth and character.

This option is for those who wish for us to manually refine their vocals in terms of pitch and timing. We utilize software such as Autotune and VariAudio to meticulously enhance the intonation, rendering the performance more assertive and precise. The degree of refinement can be tailored to your preferences, ranging from subtle adjustments to more pronounced alterations, as we demonstrate in the video above.

This is if you want us to adjust the timing of your instruments. If, for example, your drums are a bit off, with this option, we'll manually fix that. We'll also sample reinforce your Kick, Snare, Toms, and Hi-Hat if necessary to make the sound of your drums even bigger.

We proudly serve as officially recognized Apple Digital Masters providers. With this option, you will receive an additional master version crafted to comply with the rules established by Apple for seamless compatibility with their platform.

With the Multi-Track Option we print all the individual channels to include all the processing and treatment we used for the mix, track by track. This means you will be able to import the treated audio back into any DAW and reconstruct the entire mix for yourself. As a result you will be able to tweak, change or remaster the mix however you prefer.

Select this option if you are in a hurry. For Mixing & Mastering we’ll deliver your first audition file within 2 business days of receiving your material instead of the normal 7-10 business days. Revisions will also be processed more quickly.

Select this option if you want unlimited revisions with in a month period after the first audition file has been delivered.
