Is this the complete Super 808 pack?
No. This is the free Starter Kit, also known as the Lite selection. The full Super 808 is a separate paid collection.
Do I need HALion or a real 808?
No hardware is needed. The WAV samples work in software that supports WAV audio. The included legacy HALion presets require compatible software; they are an extra, not a requirement for using the sounds.
Are these recordings from Doctor Mix’s own machine?
Yes. These sounds come from my original modified Roland TR-808.
