This multitrack reconstruction of What Is Love delves into the production techniques behind Haddaway’s 1993 dance anthem, a track that became synonymous with the Eurodance movement of the 90s.
All the sounds in this multitrack were recreated using UVI instruments, with particular attention to capturing the character of the original production. The bassline, plucked synths, and airy pads have been carefully reconstructed to reflect the textures and tones that defined What Is Love as a landmark in 90s electronic music.
